The company Surtrek Tour Operator was founded in 1991. We are Experts in adventure tours and nature travel in Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands and South America.
One of our priorities is to have personal contact with our guests. We want to make you feel welcome and at home when you are on a tour with us or planning your cruise to the Galapagos Islands, a trip arround Ecuador or a trip through South America with us.

A recent addition to Surtrek Tour Operator is Ecuador Birding. This part of the company strictly focuses on professional bird watching tours with only the best guides in Ecuador.
 We offer pre-planned bird watching tours starting from 2 days to 15 in all four corners of Ecuador and the Galapagos. Alternatively you can customize your own itinerary if desired. We will put you in direct contact with a bird guide via email to better help you organise your trip. We accomodate you in the best birding reserve locations and hotel/hosterias in Ecuador (see Lodges for a list and more information)
